A CANDLE MAGICK GUIDE

Candle Magick is one of the simplest ways to bring the benefits of magick into your life!
Candles are used as essential components in many rituals, invocations, and spells or can be used alone as the main component in many simple spells.

 

COLORS AND SOME OF THEIR GENERALLY ACCEPTED ATTRIBUTES

WHITE: A balance of all colors. Symbolizes peace, purity, innocence and the power of a higher nature. Promotes peace, tranquility, purification; truth, spirituality, and sincerity. Also used for meditation, truth seeking, spiritual enlightenment, summoning spirit guides, astral travel, and to enhance psychic abilities. May be substituted for any color candle. Healing properties include treating broken bones, relieving dental pain and increasing milk production in nursing mothers. White is a Goddess symbol.

YELLOW: A stimulating and uplifting color that is the color of creativity; intelligence, confidence; movement and energy. Connects to clairvoyance, divination, wisdom, learning; imagination, and inspiration as well as the power of concentration and communication. Used in healing skin conditions as well as stomach complaints and menstrual cramps. Yellow symbolizes the element of Air.

ORANGE: Is a stimulating and energizing color. It connects to attraction, stimulation, control, personal strength, authority, and power. Also encouragement, adaptability, luck, and sudden changes. It attracts the characteristics wanted from other tools, spells and rituals. Very good for healing coughs, colds and asthma as well as arthritis and exhaustion.

GOLD: Color that promotes understanding and attracts the powers of cosmic influences; intuition, persuasion, charm and confidence. Beneficial in rituals intended to bring about fast luck or financial benefits, or in rituals honoring solar deities.

PINK:A positive color symbolic of emotional love, nurturing relationships and romance. Promotes spiritual awakening, healing of the spirit, femininity, friendships, honor and morality. It is the standard color of rituals to draw affections and love. Excellent for treating anxiety and depression, as well as ailments of the heart.

RED: The fiery, invigorating color of energy and life. Always connected to blood, birth and death; and sex. Connects with love, passion, fertility, physical energy and strength. Increases magnetism in rituals and is used in defensive magick. Also emotes courage and enthusiasm. Good in health, strength and vigor spells and defensive magick. Used in healing neuralgia's and exhaustion. Red symbolizes the element of Fire as well as being a God Symbol.

PURPLE: Vibrating color that is highly spiritual and traditionally connected to mysticism, inspiration, wisdom, idealism, purification; success, peace; and power. Aids in meditation, sensitivity and higher psychic talents; as well as connecting to idealism, ambition, power, success and household protection. Healing properties include the treatment of allergies, sleep disorders and stress-related disorders.

MAGENTA/HOT PINK: A combination of red and violet that is a very high vibrational frequency that tends to work fast. This color energizes rituals where immediate action and high levels of power or spiritual healing are required, such as quick changes, exorcism or spiritual healing.

BROWN: An earthy, balanced color, used to attract money and financial success. It aids in emotional stability and balance, eliminates indecisiveness, improves powers of concentration, study, intuition, and telepathy. Also connects also to finding lost objects. Aids in the protection of familiars and household pets as well as animal healing.

INDIGO/NAVY: A vitalizing color of inertia; used to cleanse the spirit and remove fear. Used in rituals that require a deep meditative state, to neutralize another's magick, or to counteract negative energy. Healing properties include dementia, depression, and mental disorders.

BLUE: A cool color that soothes and relaxes. Blue is a primary spiritual color, used in rituals to obtain wisdom, tranquillity, harmony, peace, inner light and truth. Connects to inspiration, occult power, protection, understanding, good health, patience and loyalty. Aids in meditation as it connects to intellect and mind. Promotes happiness, laughter and joviality. Used in treating insomnia, high blood pressure, and minor wounds. Blue symbolizes the element of Water.

GREEN: The color that connects to nature, fertility, and rejuvenation. Stimulates work involving financial issues and money; aids good fortune, prosperity, luck; ambition and success. Bringer of love and renewal, it is an emotional soother and balancer, used to counteract greed and jealousy. A good color for treating headaches, colds and nervousness. Green is the color of the Earth element and is a Goddess Symbol.

SILVER / GRAY: Neutral color that removes negative energy or influences and encourages stability. Useful when pondering complex issues during meditation and in magic, this color often sparks confusion; it also negates or neutralizes when needed. Helps develop psychic abilities and attracts the influence of the Goddess.

BLACK: Burned for positive purposes, this color opens up the deeper levels of the unconscious. Black is used in rituals to induce a deep meditational state and is good for banishing evil or negativity. Connects to self control, quiet power, and resilience, as it absorbs negativity and destroys it; offers strength and support in spells; protects from retribution and is also an aid during loss. In Voodoo and some magicks black aides in the casting and/or removal of hexes.
 

General info: It is best to use one candle per ritual or spell, and to not use a candle that has been used previously for another purpose. It is also best to allow the candle to burn out by itself, as blowing it out may disperse the energy contained within. If you need to extinguish the candle for a later continuance, use a snuffer. A candle ritual incorporates the Will and power of the practitioner to set it to work. Candles may be burned in tandem or any combination to weave a more involved spell. The candles may be 'dressed' or anointed with essential oils, sigils, or names to further the spell.

The Secret of Magick~What Is It & How can I Use It in Everyday Life?

What IS Magick?

There are many varieties and paths of practicing or harnessing this thing we call magick. Around the world and for untold thousands of years a myriad variations have evolved and developed. 

Enochian Magick, Egyptian Magick, Goetian Magick, Western Ritual Magick, Eastern Mystic Magick, Voodoo/Vodou/Vodun, Kabbalah, Earth Magicks, Wicca, Etc.... A near infinite list. What these all share at their very basic core is the intent to create change or effect in some manner through the manipulation of energy, be it spiritual energy, psychic energy, physical energy, subtle energy, divine energy, etc...

So what is Magick?

 

Magick is a universal power principle that underlies and intertwines all that surrounds us. Subtle or hidden levels of energies and powers that swirl and eddy between planes, Astral, Spiritual, Physical, sometimes confined to one, other times transcending the barriers between realms. 

Learn to draw on and utilize these elemental powers to create the life you deserve, to inspire and to empower you, to help you realize your purpose in this incarnation! We are here for you, to aid you on this journey in anyway we can!

Aleister Crowley defined magick as "the Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will." 

Magick in essence is the use and control of natural and 'super' natural or preternatural energies or power through Will and concentration, or rather concentration of Will, to produce and effect a desired change, to manifest a result. Many levels of these subtle and not so subtle energies exist within the Universe. When we do magick we have Intent, intent to create an effect or manifest change on ourselves, another, a situation, etc... by using these various subtle or underlying hidden energies and powers.

The casting of a Spell is the focusing of Intent through the Will of the Practitioner towards manifesting a certain goal or outcome. The Summoning of a Spirit is the focus and force of our Will upon the Spirit to answer and do our bidding. Magickal Rituals create a concentrated focus of the Magickan's Will to access and harness Universal powers to manifest desired results. A simplistic explanation of Magick practice to be sure, but hopefully one that explains a bit about what this thing called 'magick' really is.

Do YOU need to know and practice complicated rituals to reap the benefits of Magick?

You can utilize things such as Spells, Magickals, Energetics and the like that are created by the 'practiced' Practitioner. If you wish you can practice your own simple magicks using the associations of candle colors, incense scents or stones and crystals. These are all simple yet not simplistic ways for you to practice magick yourself. This type of magick is usually called correspondence or associative magick. Each stone, scent or color has a corresponding attribute that can be accessed.

Candle magick is one of the oldest forms of magick still being practiced. Burning a candle in a specific color with a specific association to a deity, planetary association, or correspondence draws the powers of those into your life. Many times we will ask you to burn a candle in a small ceremony to welcome a new Spirit Companion to your home.

It is the same with crystals and gem stones. Simply wearing a talisman made from a certain stone can give many results aside from any enchantments cast on it. All stones, gems and crystals have their own unique energies and powers that can be used to influence differing occult functions.  Many contain properties of healing, wealth attraction or protection while others are used to increase divination and spiritual communication.

So magick can be as complicated or simple as you wish it.

Who knows? You may like it so much you might decide to become a 'Witch' yourself!

However you choose to proceed with Magick, making it a part of your daily life can truly change your life for the better in so many ways!

You will wonder how you could have waited so long to utilize it's powers!

I almost forgot to thank all those who emailed asking about Lady Elizabeth. As some of you might have heard she was in the hospital for a couple of days after fighting off a couple of young 'punk' burglars who were sent after a very valuable artifact she owns. She was a bit banged up but the Doctors ruled her OK after a pile of tests.

It's very suspicious that just after she flatly refused to sell this item for any price to a certain Dark Practitioner that these two came on the scene. They ignored certain valuables looking for just one thing! They have ALL been dealt with so none will be back. There are things way more serious than the law after them now!

I'm 'Blogging' Again and Love is in the Air!

I've been totally ignoring this blog but have recently decided it's time to start posting again. So MUCH has happened in the past few months to keep me busy that I just sort of pushed this to the back of my mind ---BUT several people have emailed me telling me it's time to get back to posting!

So a quick catchup! I have been rather distracted this last year by--drumroll!!!!!! A MAN! Now I was not looking but Aunt Maeve, Elizabeth and Mambo Belle decided I needed one so out came their trusty "Find a Man Spells".

And did it ever work! At first it was odd, being smiled at, chatted up, phone calls from old high school flames. Then the ladies confessed!

Ultimately though I met Andreas who shares my interests, is sweet and handsome, loves my dogs, tolerates the cats, and has a sexy German accent to boot! He came to my door one day, sent by mutual friends to ask about eBay. I ALMOST sent him away! I was having 'one of those days'! I had planned on staying in PJ's all day, reading a trashy book, napping, and watching some movies. So there I was, no make up, uncombed 'bed head', sloppy sweat pants and a big man's shirt, INSIDE OUT! Egads! I was LOVELY! Well he thought so I guess! We stood on my porch for 7 hours talking! Then emails, lunch that became dinner and the rest is history as they say.

Andreas is a Practitioner of Magick also, From a Family long involved in many Paths. He is now selling on eBay under the name Black_Forest_Magick, which by the way, is where he comes from.

We have been working together, along with Elizabeth, Aunt Maeve, Belle and a few others.

So my promise--to try and post here as often as possible! I have SO much to talk about, things I've learned, new magicks, old mystery's and much more!

I'M BACK FROM MOUNT SHASTA MAGICK GATHERING WITH SOME AMAZING STORIES AND AMAZING ITEMS!

MOUNT SHASTA!

Mount Shasta Power Day gathering and castings were amazing! I have not hardly slept but I'm so excited and energized I really don't want to!

I have many energetic charms and vessels that we either spelled or linked to spirit energies and want to get them photographed so I can share some of them. I have some pieces I want to offer to my customers as well as some I am going to give as gifts to my next few buyers on eBay or privately.

One thing I have that I am very excited about are Power Amplification vessels. These have been imbued with the power of the Sacred Mountain as well as the Power Day of 09/09/09. They are charged to amplify your own magic work, stimulate and heighten your psychic powers and to 'amplify' the energy of your own energetic vessels and magickals.

I have vessels with several ancient spirits that came forth and are now linked to vessels. These are Spirit Guides of the highest order! Ancient beings of Atlantis and Lemuria!

I am adding a few pictures that I just took of several of these fabulous items above and below. The crystal wand pendant has a multitude of Spirits and Devas present. You can see traces of these energetic entities as they move within the crystal.







Since Mount Shasta holds such Sacred Power for many of the Native American tribes I decided to bring a few pieces of genuine tribal Southwestern jewelry I just received at my antiques business. I usually sell these pieces as just the nice jewelry it is but decided that this was the chance to empower and energize a few pieces and possibly even add spiritual linkages. I personally am very fond of Turquoise and tribal jewelry, I have a big personal collection, so it was natural to bring some along to wear. So I brought some with me both to wear and cast. I now have pieces that have been spelled for various things as well as a couple of pieces now linked with some very interesting Native spirits including a very wise Tribal Shaman Medicine man. I will share those pieces later but some are in the picture below that I took earlier this week in preparation for listing some pieces as regular Tribal pieces. This was BEFORE I decided to take them to the Gathering on Mount Shasta.


The necklace below I was wearing at one point in this 2 day gathering and a spirit came forth requesting to be linked. This spirit is a High Priestess of ancient Atlantis who is destined to be a Spirit Guide for someone who is a worker of Light and has a strong interest in Crystals and their energies. She is a Master of the science of Crystal use that was a highly evolved and important part of Atlantean culture and knowledge. I'm not really pleased as this was my personal piece that I am very fond of, but the Spirit preferred it as a vessel, so the choice was made for me!

I will be posting much more about this fabulous and very inspiring 2 days very soon but now I need to pack and ship some items to my waiting customers! I will be listing several of the Mount Shasta pieces very soon on eBay!
